Bio

Will Olson is an Associate Editor at Nature Neuroscience, where he handles research across systems, computational, and theoretical neuroscience. His editorial interests include neural circuits and population dynamics, sensory and motor systems, learning and memory, cognition and decision-making, and emerging areas at the interface of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Before joining Nature Neuroscience, he conducted postdoctoral research in Dan O’Connor’s lab at Johns Hopkins University, studying proprioceptive representations during sensorimotor control in mice, and completed his PhD in Wenqin Luo’s lab at the University of Pennsylvania, studying the organization of pain circuits. He is based in the Philadelphia office.
